This page explains, plainly, what Billund Cricket Club collects through this website, why, and how you can ask us to remove it. We keep this deliberately short because we deliberately collect very little.

What we collect

If you use the join form, we collect the name, email or phone number, and message you type in. That's it — we don't ask for anything else, and there's no account to create.

If you email or call a committee member directly from the contact page, whatever you share with them is between you and that person, same as any email or phone call.

What we don't collect

This site doesn't use analytics, tracking cookies, or advertising of any kind. We don't know who's visiting the site or track you across it. The one exception: the Google Maps embed on the Club and Contact pages loads content from Google, which may set its own cookies under Google's own privacy policy — that's Google's data practice, not ours.

Why we collect it, and who sees it

Join-form submissions exist for one reason: so a committee member can get back to you about playing, volunteering, or your question. They're stored in our database (Firebase/Google Cloud) and only visible to signed-in committee members, via the admin dashboard's Inbox. We don't sell, share, or use this data for anything else.

How long we keep it

A submission stays in the Inbox until a committee member has dealt with it, at which point it's deleted. We don't keep a long-term archive of inquiries.

If you're signing up on behalf of a junior player

If the message is about a player under 18, please have a parent or guardian submit it and be the point of contact — the same applies to any follow-up conversation with the committee.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time — email a committee member on the contact page and we'll sort it out.

This is a good-faith description of how a small volunteer-run club site actually handles your information, not a substitute for legal advice.
